Pricing questions
The things schools always ask first.
01 How does per-learner-per-term billing work?
Each term we count active learners enrolled in the platform on day one of term, multiply by your tier rate, and issue a single invoice. You pay once per term — three invoices a year — by SasaPay, M-Pesa, card or bank transfer. There are no overage fees if you enrol new learners mid-term; we true up at the start of the next term.
02 Is there a free trial?
Yes. Every new school gets a 30-day free trial — full platform, no credit card needed. Bring your own data or seed with sample records. If you need longer to evaluate during a live term, talk to us; we would rather you decide on real classroom use than a stopwatch.
03 What is the minimum commitment?
One term. We bill in advance per term and you can choose not to renew at the end of any term. We will export your data for 30 days after termination using standard formats — CSV, JSON, and PDF for report cards.
04 Are setup, training and onboarding charged separately?
Remote onboarding is included in every plan. On-site training is included in the Institution tier and available as a paid add-on for Essentials and Growth. Data migration from spreadsheets or another platform is included for all plans.
05 Do you support SasaPay, M-Pesa, cards, bank transfer and cheque?
Yes. SasaPay is the primary checkout option, M-Pesa Daraja is available as a secondary mobile-money route, and Paystack handles card payments. Bank-transfer invoices are issued with a unique reference; cheques are accepted at the bursar’s discretion with a five-day clearing window.
06 How are inactive learners handled?
We do not bill for learners who left before the start of the term. The platform tracks transfer-out and withdrawal events; only learners with an active placement on day one of term are billed.
07 Do you offer discounts for school groups?
Yes. Groups of three or more schools under common management receive group pricing. The Institution tier covers multi-school dashboards and consolidated billing.
08 How is my data protected?
Every school’s data is isolated, encrypted in transit and at rest, and backed up daily to geo-redundant encrypted storage. Access is audit-logged and role-scoped. See our security page for the full posture.
